The story of Nice-business Solutions dates back to 1999 when Fujitsu and Nokia were seeking an operating model that would best meet Nokia’s needs in eBusiness development. In February 2000 the joint venture agreement was signed, and Nice was established in March 2000. Nice is owned by Fujitsu (80.1%) and Nokia corporation (19.9%).

During the past years Nice has grown significantly. Nice has actively recruited new professionals and acquired several companies. The first acquisition being KTHK Consulting in 2004 that strenghtened Nice's PDM competence. In 2006  the acquisition of Embe Systems Oy added R&D competencies and expanded Nice’s operations to Oulu.The acquisition of Mobility Solutions from Satama Interactive in 2008 added  competence for mobile product development. Furthermore, in 2008 the acquisition of RTT Solutions Oy testing business strengthened our testing capabilities. In 2009 Itella Information outsourced  its IT development work to Nice.  In 2011 Nice acquired Cell Telecom Ltd and strengthened  Nice’s competencies in mobile solutions and services.  

Nice’s offshore operations started in 2005 and our offshore office located in Pune, India was established in 2008.

In April 2009 Nice set up an affiliate company, Nice-business Consulting Oy (Ltd.), Nico.

Today Nice is a global company with 400 permanent employees and over 200 subcontractors, having revenue of 60,3 million euros (fiscal year 2009/2010).  Nice is an essential part of Fujitsu Finland's application services business.
