ISO 20000 Certificate Awarded to Nice.
27.05.2010

ISO/IEC 20000 is the first worldwide standard specifically aimed at IT Service Management. It describes an integrated set of management processes for the effective delivery of services to the business and its customers. ISO/IEC 20000 is aligned with and complementary to the process approach defined within ITIL from the Office of Government Commerce (OGC).

The certificate awarded to Nice is the second in Finland (Fujitsu took the first one) and there are only a few holders of the certificate in the Nordic countries altogether.

The audit process to get the certificate took 2.5 years, starting with improving the service process since October 2008 and followed by a Spice Assessment in January 2009 and by a Gap Analysis in September 2009. The first audit was on 25th and 26th March 2010. Brisk improvement actions lead to passing the second audit on 28th April 2010.
