The service managers’ work may consist of service planning, transition tasks from project to use phase service, operational service management tasks e.g. guidance, overall monitoring of service and reporting. Service management may also include ITIL consultancy for process improvement, service management, application maintenance and application support. This service is provided by Service Managers with ITIL certification.
